I quit...

And now the journey begins! I daresay I am writing to myself at this point but I hope that my ramblings bring a bevy of followers in the not too distant future. Although I am not new to the realm of computers or the internet in general, I am relatively new to the expansive world of blogging and running a business online. But I am also doing this whole thing rather backwards. You see, I already quit my day job! Well it was for a different reason, but now more than ever I want to be a part of something I built and something I am proud of. This month marks the beginning of a rebirth for my mom and I. We are both hitting the reset button in our lives and turning our paths towards entrepreneurship and doing things that make us happy.

Therefore, the theme for this blogs beginning is the phoenix. “A phoenix is a mythical bird with a tail of beautiful gold and red plumage. It lives 500 to 1,000 years. Then, near the end of its life, it builds itself a nest of myrrh twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises, reborn anew to live again.
