Starting Friday and through this weekend I will be volunteering at the Edmonds Arts Festival! I will be shadowing some of the directors, filling in at booths and basically seeing how it all works. I went down today to get a feel for the festival layout as I have never been there before. One of the directors showed me around and explained all the areas of the festival. The food and art vendors were setting up their booths in the field area next to Frances Anderson Cultural center. Other volunteers were tending to last minute details inside the building and more were setting up the plaza for an Indian-themed kickoff soiree tonight. This festival is sure to be great, it was even voted best street fair in Western Washington by Evening Magazine this year!
